INTRODUCTION


Panameer is committed to protecting your personal information. This statement explains how we treat information that we collect about you as an individual through Talent Marketplace. By using Talent Marketplace, you agree to the terms of this statement. This privacy statement may be amended from time to time. Any substantial changes will be communicated to users.

‘Panameer’, ‘we’ and ‘us’ refer to Panameer SA (Panameer US), the US member firm of the Panameer (Panameer) global network of member firms. Each Panameer member firm is a separate legal entity.

DATA COLLECTION


As part of the user registration process for Talent Marketplace, we collect personal information about you, including your name, telephone number(s), and email address(es).

You can also complete your profile on Talent Marketplace with a range of additional types of information about yourself, including your education and professional credentials, your experience and technical skills, your desired types of project work, and your geographical location preferences. Panameer may collect this information directly from you through Talent Marketplace or through other sources, including email and telephone. It is up to you how much of this additional information you want to provide to Panameer. Lastly, you can update these preferences anytime under their Account settings/Communication Settings within the application.

If you provide sensitive personal information to Panameer through Talent Marketplace or other sources, you do so voluntarily and Panameer accepts your consent for us to collect, store and use your sensitive personal information in the same ways as other personal information described in this statement.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION


The primary purposes for which Panameer collects your information on Talent Marketplace and for which Panameer may use it are:

  • To align you with open roles that potentially match your experience, technical skills, desired project work and other preferences; and
  • To be able to effectively communicate with you as necessary.

Other purposes for which Panameer may use your personal information are:

  • To operate, administer, manage and improve Talent Marketplace.
  • To develop and manage our business, services and relationship with you, including by providing information about us and our services on Talent Marketplace.
  • To conduct data analysis regarding the performance and use of Talent Marketplace and the demographics of its users, for use by Panameer.
  • To conduct quality and risk management reviews.

We will not pass your personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. If you don’t want us to use information we collect about you through your use of Talent Marketplace to provide you with information about our services, you can opt out of receiving these communications by emailing your request to us at Feedback@panameer.com.

COOKIES AND LOG FILES


Cookies may be used on some pages of Talent Marketplace. “Cookies” are small text files placed on your hard drive that assist us in providing a more customized website experience. For example, a cookie can be used to store registration information so that you do not need to re-enter it on subsequent visits to the site. It is Panameer’s policy to use cookies to make navigation of our websites easier for visitors and to facilitate efficient registration procedures. Site statistics are compiled by third parties and therefore your IP address will be passed to third parties for statistical reporting only.

If you are concerned about cookies, most browsers permit individuals to decline cookies. In most cases a visitor may refuse a cookie and still fully navigate our website, however, other functionality in the site may be impaired. After termination of the visit to our site, you can always delete the cookie from your system if you wish.

In order to properly manage our website, we may anonymously log information on our operational systems, and identify categories of visitors by items, such as domains and browser types. THIRD PARTIES


Personal information collected by Panameer may be transferred or disclosed to third party contractors, subcontractors, subsidiaries and/or other Panameer firms for the purposes for which you have submitted the information and for the administration of our site and/or other internal, administrative purposes. Personal information may also be transferred to third party service providers of identity management, website hosting and management, data analysis, data back-up, security and storage services. As a result, your personal information may also be transferred outside the country where you are located. By submitting personal information through this site, you are providing explicit consent to the transfer of such information for the fulfilment of your voluntary requests or otherwise as set out in the ‘Use of personal information’ section.

It’s Panameer’s policy to disclose information to third parties under the following circumstances:

ACCESS


Panameer is committed to providing reasonable practical access to users to allow them the opportunity to identify and correct the accuracy of identifying information previously submitted to Panameer. When personal information is retained, Panameer assumes responsibility for keeping an accurate record of the information once a user has submitted and verified the data. Panameer does not assume responsibility for verifying the ongoing accuracy of the content of personal information. When practically possible, if Panameer is informed that any personal information collected through Talent Marketplace is no longer accurate, Panameer will make appropriate corrections based on the updated information that you provide.

RETENTION


Panameer will retain your personal information for as long as is required for any of the purposes described above, or longer if required by applicable law or regulation.

CHILDREN


Panameer understands the importance of protecting children’s privacy especially in an online environment. This site is not intentionally designed for or directed at children under the age of 13 years. It is Panameer’s policy never to knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information about children under the age of 13.

SECURITY


Panameer has put in place appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse or destruction, including unauthorized, accidental or unlawful disclosure or processing of your personal information. Only authorized personnel are provided access to personal information and these employees have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of this information.
