Welcome to the Procurement Learning Paths group page.

Learning path groups contain learning paths, learning paths contain courses, and courses contain training videos and certifications.  Our members access these training videos by enrolling in the related learning paths.  Learning paths enrollment is initiated in one of two ways, via the menus on panameer.com or via the courses directory.  Click here to access the courses directory.

The Procurement Learning Path group page provides an overview of each of the learning paths in this group.  The procurement learning paths cover the Oracle cloud-related tools, applications, business processes, and third-party services related to “generic” procurement.  Courses in this group may reference different variations (direct, indirect, inventory, etc.) or provide industry-specific examples (two-stage sourcing, using SmartForms to mask categories, or creating a processing channel focused on a ServiceNow front end for technology purchases, but this learning path group is meant to teach generic, source-to-settle procurement.

All learning paths in this learning path group are being taught by Scott Walls.  Scott has nearly 30 years of procurement implementation experience.  He began his career by deploying PeopleSoft with Andersen Consulting in 1994, left to deploy PeopleSoft as an independent contractor in 1998, started his first firm, SRM+ in 2010, and moved to cloud in 2017.

This learning path group contains 4 learning paths.  Each path is focused on an important element of procurement and/or procurement’s integration with related third-party tools, applications, and services.  Collectively, these paths cover the following:

1. The Contract Management Learning Path

The first learning path is Contract Management.  The Contract Management Learning Path contains 3 courses.  They are as follows:

• The Contract Management Functional Area Overview Course
• The Contracts Application Overview Course
• The Terms Library Application Overview Course

The Contract Management Functional Area Overview Course explains what the Oracle Cloud’s Contract Management Functional Area is and does.  It walks through the contract management applications, integrations, and popular careers.  It also solicits tips and tricks from contract management experts.  The Contracts Application Overview Course and Terms Library Application Overview Course explain how to create new transactions, find existing transactions, and change existing transactions within those applications.

2. The Basic Procurement Learning Path

The second learning path is Basic Procurement.  The Basic Procurement Learning Path contains 5 courses. 

Those courses are as follows:
